Dr. Deepak Sebastian is a clinical instructor in orthopedic physical therapy, at the Institute of Therapeutic Sciences clinical residency and manual therapy fellowship program, Livonia, MI.
Dr. Sebastian is a specialist in orthopedic physical therapy and is currently practicing in an outpatient setting where he is engaged in treating patients with orthopedic dysfunction.
He has over 11 years of teaching experience and over 21 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist in varied clinical settings. He is a board certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
He is the founding director of the Institute of Therapeutic Sciences, which is the first orthopedic physical therapy residency in the state of Michigan, and currently the only institution in the state to offer both an orthopedic physical therapy residency and an orthopedic manual physical therapy fellowship. He is credited to describing two new clinical syndromes, 'Triangular Interval Syndrome', and ‘T2 Radiculopathy’ which is indexed in Medline.
He has provided numerous presentations before national and international gatherings related to physical therapy and has authored / co-authored several peer-reviewed research articles and abstracts.
